We ended this week with some really cold weather and some more winter fun!
On Thursday, we practiced our gluing skills by making snowmen. The children were each given 3 circles to glue down. Some glued them all down and added extra glue on top. Some only glued one or two circles. They love to use these glue brushes!
It may be too cold to play on our playground, but we make sure to get some of that toddler energy out by doing some gross motor play in the hallway!
Today it was so cold that we tried an experiment. We filled some ziploc bags with water. One of our friends decided we should put some dinosaurs in the bags. We put the bags outside and checked on them to see what was happening. The bags were starting to really freeze after lunch. We are going to leave them outside over the weekend to see what happens.
We also got to use some watercolors today. The children loved watching the colors mix and telling their teachers what they were painting. We had "a lion" and "a dolphin" and a "buh," and "PAINT!"
We hope you all have a wonderful, safe weekend!
