Artsy Thursday and Family Friday

Thursday was Artsy Thursday and in honor of spring, we used dried flowers as paint brushes to make the final pages of our special Pesach projects! These projects will be coming home very soon, and the children put so much work into them!

Some of the petals fell off the flowers and made a fun sound when the children crushed them up in their hands. So we let the children explore crushing up the flowers. We tried to get them to glue the pieces of dried flowers onto paper, but using the glue as paint was much more fun for them!

Today was Family Friday. Our little artists made original artwork for their families and designed the covers of their Passover books. At snack time, we read Todd Parr's The Family Book and talked about our own families.
