Big muscles!

This morning we took advantage of the above freezing temperatures and enjoyed some playground time and fresh air!  Friends enjoyed climbing the structure, using the slides, and swinging.  Everyone was very interested in the ice that had formed around some of our toys.  Some friends stomped on the ice to see what would happen.

Inside we continued on with our winter themed collage.  We made puffy paint using shaving cream, glue, and blue water color paint.  Everyone enjoyed using paint brushes to move the paint around, and some of us used our fingers to feel the fluffy texture.

On our train table we played with tree log blocks and squirrel figurines.  We built towers and knocked them down.  On friend thought it was fun to drop the trees off the side of the table, so we came up with a silly game.  Putting a basket on the floor to catch the blocks, we laid on the train table and dropped the blocks into the basket.
