Snow!

Today we added more to our wonderful collage! Our friends began by adding glue and cool colored tissue paper to our paper.  This quickly turned into interest in revisiting the shaving cream paint from yesterday.  We mixed up another big batch and everyone had a blast!  Our collage is looking like a beautiful snowy scene!

At one of our other tables, our students engaged in snow play.  We used fake snow and the animals from The Mitten to create snowy play scenes.  Some friends used their imaginations to have the animals run through the snow.  Everyone enjoyed the texture of the snow, it even felt cold like real snow!

In our dramatic play corner, we made hot chocolate. We used brown construction paper and white felt for our ingredients.  The pots and pans heated up our cocoa before we moved our ingredients into our cups.
