Sukkahs!

Today we began our unit on Sukkot. In the light studio we played in the pop up Sukkah, built our own Sukkahs out of magnatiles and explored etrogs and lulavs.  We also watched a video of people building Sukkahs.

Everyone enjoyed our gross motor play in gym today. We practiced balancing on the balance beam, rode around on cars and climbed mats.

This morning we had beautiful weather. The dew in the morning lead to some dripping from the playsets and gutters.  Everyone was interested in watching the water drip, drip, drip.  We are beginning to see more cooperative play in different spaces.  We took turns on the swings and gave each other pushes while we waited. One friend even helped another brush themselves off when the tripped on some mulch.
