Thursday was our first day being able to explore our outdoor classroom. This group loves to be outside!
The favorite activity today was playing in our giant sandbox.
Mrs. Ashley came in Thursday morning to guide us through our weekly music class. We sang songs with egg shakers (like "Shake your sillies out") and got to explore Mrs. Ashley's guitar.
We continued to explore our warm colors unit in our favorite way: paint! Thursday we mixed together our paints using paint scrapers to discover what happens when red, orange and yellow are combined in different ways.
Friday we finished out our warm colors unit. We colored on yellow paper under our art table blending red and orange together.
Friday was our first day on the bike track. Everyone enjoyed running in the outdoors space and playing with large vehicles and chalk. Outside remains our favorite!
We continue to explore our classroom more and more each day discovering new ways to play.
