Today we started our unit on Rosh Hashana! We are beginning to explore this holiday through the theme of apples and honey. We played with homemade honey playdough: we made "honeycombs" by rolling it over bubble wrap, and rolled our dough into round challahs!
Today was our day in the light studio! Our apples and honey theme continued here. We explored the apple market and played with toy bees and made pretend honeycombs using translucent yellow hexagons.
At snack, we read stories about Rosh Hashanah. We learned about the Shofar and what a mitzvah is.
Outside time continues to be a class favorite. Today we went out early to try and beat the heat and humidity.
