Rams and Apple Painting

Today was full of Rosh Hashanah fun! This morning, we were able to see a real ram. His name is Rowling! Some of the children were more than ready to get out of the wagon and pet the ram's soft fur. Others were a little more timid. After our ram visit, we returned to the classroom and washed our hands. In the Atelier today, we explored making apple prints with paint. Tomorrow we are looking forward to hearing the shofar and exploring pomegranates!

We explored playdough using the honey dippers, cookie cutter, and our hands. It was black and yellow and smelled like honey!

Since we will be going to the apple orchard on Thursday, we practiced taking turns picking apples. We expanded the activity by giving the children the opportunity to sort the apples into "baskets" by color.

It was so fun watching the littles interact with the ram today!

We continue to explore in the Atelier and learn about all the fun things we are able to do in this space.

As they get more comfortable, the children are branching out in their play on the playground. We are seeing more creativity come out!
