The Farm

We began our study of farm animals today! We matched farm animals, painted with tractors, tried to build barns with popsicle sticks and playdough, and found animals in our sensory bin.

It was too cold to explore outside today, so we brought some of our snow in to the classroom. The children had fun letting the farm animals take drinks from the snow. The snow melted so quickly in our warm room, so we added ice cubes to allow the children to keep on playing.

The light studio continues to be a favorite exploration space for the Katon class. Today, we got to see the silly side of some of our friends really start to show.

We have more farm animal fun planned for this week. We are looking forward to seeing where this exploration will take us for the coming weeks!
