Ocean Mural and Taking Ownership of Our Space

Just a short blog today! We added some "sand" to our ocean in the form of yellow glitter paint. Children were given the choice between "boom, boom, boom" with the bath puffs or "scrub, scrub, scrub" with a toothbrush to make add the paint to our mural. It is coming along so nicely!

The children have been really interested in helping us clean. Today they helped us clean the tables after snack. Once one friend started, they all wanted to help. Since it was just the soapy water at this point,  we were happy to let them! We are really seeing the toddlers take ownership of their space.
