Today was all about sensory stimulating fun! Starting with a cow "milking" activity. We filled two gloves with watered-down white paint, and poked small holes in the fingers of the gloves. The children were able to squeeze the gloves to get the "milk" out of them. A couple of our friends figured out how to get the "milk" to shoot across the room, which brought on some major giggles.
We also had an animal washing invitation. A little bit of water, a little bit of baby wash, some farm animals, and various cleaning utensils made for some cleaning fun.
We did some "muddy" painting today, too. We used shaving cream and brown paint to make a mud-like consistency on the paper using paint brushes.
We took the opportunity to go outside and enjoy the warmer weather on our playground today. The Katon children were incredibly happy to be able to explore and climb again! We will try to continue to take them outside as much as we can.
Just one more day of farm fun this week before our long weekend!
