The last couple days have been busy in our class. Our friends have enjoyed finishing up our Hanukkah study and are starting to show interest in our new study: cool colors.
Thursday, we enjoyed collaging at the art table with paint as the glue. We used cookie decorating bottles filled with a thinned paint to squeeze gold paint on to our paper. Some of us enjoyed finger painting in the poured paint and some of us chose to use a brush. We then took blue colored bits of paper, string and stickers to add to our work.
Today our kiddos were full of wiggles. This is pretty common on weeks returning from a break. We enjoyed time outside in the sunshine and dance parties in the classroom to help us regulate our bodies and get the wiggles out.
The last few days our children have been exploring the spaces above the ground in our classroom. Playing on tables allows our children to learn about their world from a new prospective.
